Our Luxe Lip Lacquers can be worn not one but two ways! For a high shine finish, just apply as normal and forget about it! But if you're looking for a more matte finish, simply dab gently after applying. Use with or without a lip liner - the option is yours! Lip Lacquers offer a pigmented, hydrating look to your lips in just one swipe.

Lips x Matte: Moisturise your lips before applying. Our lip creams go on opaque and are super comfortable. Reapply when needed. Get that long lasting colour throughout the day without that over-drying, tight lip feeling.
Lips x Lacquer: Our Luxe Lip Lacquers can be worn not one but two ways! For a high shine finish, just apply as normal and forget about it! Your satisfaction is important to us and if you feel that the items you have received are not up to that standard we will gladly accept returns. We currently accept returns on items that have arrived damaged, or if you have incorrectly received the wrong item. However, please understand due to the nature of cosmetic products, any overused makeup item cannot be returned for hygienic reasons. Those sales are final.
Our Story
As a Canadian woman of Indian ethnicity, I struggled to find a great nude lipstick ALWAYS or see a model that looked like me. There was a definite lack of representation in the industry and I was always mixing together shades to find one that worked for me. I'd often get asked "what shade is that?" and never really have an answer to that question. I would always talk about how this was such a problem and one day I just had a light bulb moment... why not fix it? After 2 long years of research, saving up money to start and trying to find a lab to work with, I received an email from a lab in Toronto who decided to give me a shot after countless back and forth. This is how Lady Burgundy began and to be honest when the first 5 shades for the Lips x Matte collection launched, I bawled my eyes out. And now when I scroll through the website I'm at a loss for words at how far we've come. It's been quite the journey and I thank you all for the love and support so many of you have shown Lady Burgundy.
